LVOE BABY by Rae

Why lvoe and not love?
(pronounced ley-voh)

When my husband and I first started dating, we would send each other emails and special cards. One time I was writing too fast and transposed the “o” and the “v” in love.  Since I was working towards my Master’s degree in Medieval Literature and teaching college composition at the time, my beau thought my innocent typo was a very funny albeit egregious mistake for someone as schooled in grammar and spelling as I was. Subsequently, he closed all his future emails and letters with lvoe and transformed this word from a silly typo into our own special and very tender way of saying, “I love you.” When our son was born and I became a stay-at-home mom, I started to explore my creative side by making the baby items I needed most when caring for him at home or on the road. Family and friends liked my modern and very functional creations and started putting in orders; and so, Lvoe Baby by Rae was born.
