Why lvoe and not love?
(pronounced ley-voh)

When my husband and I first started dating, we wouldÂ send each other emails and special cards. One time I was writing too fast and transposed the “o” and the “v” in love.Â Since I wasÂ working towards my Master’s degree in Medieval Literature and teaching collegeÂ composition at the time, my beauÂ thought my innocent typo was a very funny albeit egregious mistake for someone asÂ schooled in grammar and spelling as I was.Â Subsequently, heÂ closed all his future emails and letters withÂ lvoe and transformed this wordÂ from a silly typo into our own special and very tender wayÂ of saying, “I love you.”Â When our son was born and IÂ became a stay-at-home mom, I startedÂ to explore myÂ creative side by making the baby items I neededÂ most when caring for himÂ at home orÂ on the road.Â Family and friendsÂ liked my modern and very functional creations and started putting in orders; andÂ so,Â Lvoe Baby by RaeÂ wasÂ born.
